Welcome to my family historian blog page! I’m assuming you are here because like me, something about your family ancestry has gotten you intrigued about someone. Maybe you can’t find something or perhaps you need assistance in figuring something out about your ancestors. Perhaps, you just find this all kind of fascinating and like a good story, anecdote or learn something new. This is how I got hooked.
I never imagined I would become my family historian let alone A family historian.
My hopes are that you will find something of interest, learn something new or satiate that nosey part of you. You know, that part that likes to know about other people’s lives. I recall as a child, grounded for some odd reason, wondering about what a life was like for a child in China. Why China? I had just learned about it in school and wondered if a kid there was grounded like me. My nosey nature is not only innate but strong.
I hope my posts will perhaps shed some light on genealogy struggles or breakthroughs or insights. Maybe share a bit of history related to genealogy which is one of the reasons I find genealogy of such interest. There will be random posts that popped into my head and just had to share! I just hope they will be found to be interesting in some aspect. Being geared toward more of a family historian blog slant, the posts will be on a more personal level.
This is a new site so it will grow over time with a variety of (hopefully) interesting items, stories and insights.
