Three generations or four or even more is generational portraiture. It is something I’m offering along with the usual services of a genealogist. I’m so thrilled to be able to combine my photography business/experience with genealogy in this unique way to clients. Even if ONLY portraiture and not for genealogy research as well.
Capturing the generations of women or men in your family is fun and memorable. It’s also an endearing and forever way to save the faces to the names in your family tree. These images capture a moment in time. But that moment goes back in history and shares with the future generations of those ancestors who came before them. Maybe you’d like family generational portraits where grandparents, children and down to the great-grandchildren are included. There really are no limits but perhaps trying to schedule multiple kids and grandkids for one particular date and time!
We can make these generational portraiture images at almost any location. It can be home, on location through out the Bay Area or perhaps even a place of historical meaning to you. An ancestors home, farm, business, vacation spot or random plot of land (with permission if needed!). The options are are unlimited and a bit of brainstorming can highlight a location that has meaning and beauty.
